The Interprovincial Power Engineering Curriculum Committee (IPECC) was formed in 1974. It is a voluntary organization dedicated to the improvement in the education of Power Engineers & Refrigeration Operators.
We strive to excel by developing best practice in support of learning through inclusive work groups and subcommittees.
To reinforce the relationships and collaboration between Industry, Educators, Training Providers and Jurisdictional Bodies (SOPEEC and ACI) in general and, in particular, their connection to the Interprovincial Curriculum Documents which interpret the training scope and depth required by the National Training Syllabi.
To encourage all colleges in Canada to implement the proposals brought forth and approved at these meetings.
To fulfill the role as Canada's central vehicle for the public dialog about program materials, information, and instructional techniques for the Power Engineering and related professions.
